General Information About the Bloomington Deficiency Kit
Updated July 18, 2008
Stock Center logo
This is the "classic" Bloomington Deficiency Kit that provides maximal coverage of the genome with the minimal number of stocks. This kit consists mostly of cytologically defined deficiencies. Kits of molecularly defined deficiencies are also available (see BSC, DrosDel, and Exelixis pages). Use the Predefined Sets page to order this kit and other deficiency kits by chromosome or by arm. These stocks tend to be unhealthy and require careful stockkeeping. Maintenance at 18o is not recommended.
A poster of this Deficiency Kit is available here.
