MicroRNA gene mutations
The following table shows knockout mutations in microRNA (mir) genes. Most were generated by Steve Cohen and colleagues by homologous replacement of mir gene sequences by miniwhite-, GAL4- or GFP-expressing transgenic insertions. In some cases, clusters of mir genes were deleted rather than individual mir genes.
